Blogging About Your Surrogacy Journey: OK or Not So Much?

Our sister agency Colorado Surrogacy recently posted a blog post about blogging (say that fast three times).   What's OK for a surrogate to blog about and what's off limits? Blogs are a great tool for informing the public about surrogacy.  And a great way to get the message out there that surrogacy is a positive thing.

But the bottom line is that it is your pregnancy, but not your baby, so the wishes of the intended parents must be considered.  It's best to ask them directly--some intended parents are fine with blogging, some are not, and most fall somewhere in the middle.  Often your ability to share information about the pregnancy will be addressed in your contract, so be sure to look there first.  And any questions about the contract should go to your own lawyer.
